# Deploy PicoShare on nibrun

> A minimalist file host: upload a file, share a link, no account needed to download.

[nibrun](https://nibrun.com) deploys a single compiled binary in one click. PicoShare gets
a microVM of its own, a persistent filesystem at `data/`, and an HTTPS URL.

- Version: `v1.5.4`

PicoShare is a minimalist file host: you upload, it gives you a short link, and whoever has the
link downloads it with no account and no preview page in the way. See the
[README](https://github.com/mtlynch/picoshare#readme).

## Quick start

1. Choose a passphrase on the deploy form — it is what you log in with.
2. Click **Deploy on nibrun**, open the URL and enter it.
3. Upload a file and share the link it gives you.

Uploads live on the volume, so they survive a redeploy. Set an expiry when you want them not to.
